ADORABLE ADOPTABLE ALERT!! The many faces of Promise! She’s likely around 8 years old now, a beautiful English Pointer, a survivor of heartworms,surgery parasites, starvation and abuse. She has some arthritis but it doesn’t slow her down. Promise is … different. Her past may be a mystery but it clearly contains traumatic experiences😢 both emotional and physical with humans and and possibly other canines. Promise is incredibly loving despite the obvious abusive past… She is SWEET y’all!!! She CRAVES human touch😍. She doesn’t always feel safe with other dogs- they need to stay put of her immediate space – although she adores Emerson and is great with Blitzen & Bounce and has come a long way. She’s good with Haven’s cats. Promise is funny, sweet, quirky and eager to please. Crate trained to a fault😂(she loves her “den”!) We pray Promise will move hearts and find a family… She would truly thrive with more individual attention. She’s a precious, special girl…LOVES walks, belly rubs and cuddles.
