We NEED your help.
Good Dog needs his own family, where he can be one on one and flourish. I am heartbroken that he has not had even one application. This is the dog that was abandoned at Land Between the Lakes with two bags of trash.
He is fantastic and we love him so much and we would keep him in a heartbeat but he is not a great pack dog. And we can’t recommend him with cats either… he does okay most of the time but if the cat gets too feisty it’s a problem. He has been great with kids although he’s a little clunky and not aware of his 70+ lb size… He has grown amazingly when it comes to meeting new people… there will always have to be an introduction but he’s really loving being around people. Good Dog is very sensitive despite his clunky playful nature and just needs his permanent humans to bond with so he can really just relax and grow.
He is not a good fit for the environment at Haven because we do not have individualized areas – it’s a giant pack family. We have been going through extremely difficult times losing Doug and we’re putting our beloved horse down as well this week and we need some help from y’all now please.
