ADORABLE ADOPTABLE ALERT!
Mr Magoo is one of a kind! At approximately 7 years old, he is truly a combat veteran veteran and has survived a background worthy of a purple heart and a bronze star… losing both eyes, hit by car, starved, neglected, and most recently a cancer scare (he had multiple surgeries to relieve a fast growing malignant tumor). He has fought back with the heart of a very happy lion and has been a joyful, happy presence here at Haven… After this last surgery we had clear margins and he’s healing up beautifully. This blind sensory impaired boy does require special handling and a special home. But overall he’s a happy, wonderful addition for any family with a little patience and extra time. He does well with Haven’s pack but requires extra time and patience when meeting new canines, especially males. Mr. Magoo is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives. He is the ultimate cuddle bug and adores his humans!
