We are deeply affected and saddened to share that Haven alumni Hanna crossed rainbow bridge in her Momma’s arms. But we cannot help but rejoice and be grateful for the family who adopted Hanna… they exemplify everything we could want for a dog that had a truly horrific (NOT an understatement we did not know if she was going to survive her first year with us) start to her life. They loved her, nursed her through blindness and other illnesses, they moved her all over the country all the way to Alaska ..they never thought of leaving her behind.
To Jess, Rae, Alex and little Weston our hearts are with you. Thank you for being the “for better or worse” family this sweet girl deserved. (And yes, Katie… You were right. This was the match made in heaven.)
