Tommy Bug is doing fantastic! His weight has picked up nicely! He’s now up to 57lb from 45! His goal weight will be between 60 and 65 lbs. He will be neutered on August 25th has been brought up to date on all his shots, praise God he’s heartworm negative and been placed on prevention for that as well as treated and given preventatives for fleas and ticks. This guy is a love. Despite his initial fear of being caught, he is a people dog and loves his people. He is learning how to play with toys and other animals. He’s been great with the pack of dogs and the pride of cats! This starved, emaciated scared youngster is morphing into a handsome loving just all around fantastic dog to be with. Has some slight separation anxiety which is completely understandable and has been wonderful with everybody he’s met. He loves to cuddle!!! His coat is filling in beautifully and he’s a deep charcoal merle, not solid black. We love his sweet little face. Tommy bug will have his surgery and then he will be searching for his forever family.
